Kind Bars-Larabar
Hello (: Congrats on recovering! I’m happy for you! Maybe, hopefully, these websites will work for you! You can buy from The Better Health Store - Larabar or the larabarstore! They are in dollars here and I’m not sure if the larabar store has a UK based website so you don’t have to convert money, but probably not. If these websites do allow shipping to the UK, then the money should just automatically covert when you buy it. If not, just google “buy larabars online” or something along those lines (: If none of that works out, I’m sure they have something similar there that will work for you! read more..
Ibs
Hello! I would be glad to help. Sorry it’s taken a bit for me to get to this. After I first read this after you sent it (then I lost internet for a week), I had plans of starting a whole page dedicated to IBS and helping others with it. So keep a look out for that. I hope to get it up soon but I don’t want to spend a massive amount of time online like I used to. The first thing I did was start a food journal. Writing my meals down (and I wrote the time) and writing any problems I had after the meal help me to figure out what things caused me any pain or problems. Then I eliminated those things, for the most part. I’m also lactose intolerant so I had a lot of problems with dairy before I knew I was allergic to it. Don’t eat too much during meals, don’t eat a lot of ‘heavy’ foods during the morning and afternoon (I have my heavier meals during dinner), get plenty of fiber, avoid processed and junk foods, avoid carbonated drinks and I think caffeine, too. I drink tea, but coffee gives me problems as well. And definitely exercise. Exercise, especially core exercises, helped keep me regulated and keep the bloating down. Ibs effects us all differently so the foods I have problems with, you might not have such problems with. It takes time to figure it all out, but you get a closer hang of it. It’s definitely a struggle though. I also started taking probiotics, though I sometimes forget to, and they seem to help a bit. Also, I recommend not eating meat. As far as digestion goes, not eating meat helps with it a lot. A lot of people who stop eating meat say they don’t feel as constipated and they feel better in general. I hope this helps! read more..

School Lunches-Granola Bar-Weight Loss
That’s generally not enough to make a significant change in your weight. That is only one meal of the day, after all. It is a good start, though. You need a good healthy and balanced diet and exercise is important as well. While what you eat matters more, not exercising can cause your weight to stay the same or plateau in Weight Loss. Make sure you’re getting your daily fruits and veggies, lean meats, lots of water, green tea, cardio, weight resistance workouts. Remember to work out a few times a week if possible, always eat healthy and portioned, and always treat yourself. I have a health for beginners page (that needs updating) in my FAQ page if you need more help with that, and some workouts stuff in the Index page! read more..

Weight Resistance
You can not target fat loss in specific area’s by doing any specific thing. A clean, healthy diet and exercise (cardio and weight resistance) is what you need to follow to lose weight. If you would like that in more detail, let me know. read more..

Thrift Store-Essentials
The blue pants? Thank you! The brand is called Basic Essentials. They are actually just a pair of sweats that I picked up from a thrift store a while back. I wore them so often that they are all ugly now with a crotch hole haha. They’re also not really turquoise, they’re actually more teal (here) so they probably don’t seem as cute hah. read more..

Black Beans-Ingredients-Olive Oil-Garlic-Vegan
Yes, olive oil is Vegan. Black beans from a can are vegan unless otherwise stated in the Ingredients. They are plain but they have added salt and some of them have other things in them. Always check the ingredients because some canned (refried) beans have lard in them. Garlic… that depends on how much you want to add and what you are making. Taste test it. Maybe mince half of a clove and add it into the dish and if it’s not enough, add more. That only works with some dishes though. And you can read about the health benefits of quinoa here. It’s a good alternative to rice and regular spaghetti noodles and pasta. For me, they are a lot less bloat-y. read more..

Weight Resistance
Yes, of course you can! You don’t NEED the gym, but I find that working out in a place like that, around people who are working out, is more motivational. All you really need to lose weight and live healthy is yourself. You can lose 50 pounds by the middle of June if you really try. A healthy diet, cardio, and weight resistance (your workout videos) will do just that. Make sure you are in between a healthy calorie range. The more muscle you gain, the more you’ll burn. And make sure you are drinking plenty of water, getting enough sleep, things like that effect your metabolism a lot. You can do it (: read more..

Bicycle Crunches-Weight Loss-Exercises-Thighs
It’s okay to be anon. But I am not judging you and there are many people here who are on the same journey as you and they understand how you feel, none of us here are judging you As far as the Exercises go… You definitely can work out alone. Just make sure that the way and what you eat is really important in Weight Loss. You definitely should be sure that what you are eating is good for your body. If you have doubts, here are some tips. I do recommend doing cardio. So if you want to go on runs or jogs a few days a week, that would be great. If you truly are not ready to work out in front of people, you can do a few things alone. Jumping jacks and jumping rope will help get your heart rate up. Or do those jumping things where you bring each knee up to your chest. I forgot what they are called but if you need more info, I can find something. For Thighs, I always suggest lunges (or walking lunges rather than in place). If you really get into them and do enough, you will feel the burn the next morning. Squats, sitting against the wall, and chair pose will help burn those thighs too. There are some pilates videos focused on the thighs and I can find some of those for you. I also have thigh workouts in the Index of my blog on the Workouts page. That goes for abs too. For abs… Bicycle crunches, reverse crunches, bicycles and reverse bicycles (different from the crunches), flutter kicks, elbow to knee crunches, and Russian crunches (seated side twist) are really effective core work outs. Doing these slow and controlled add the burn and give for a better work out. Those are exercises that you can do in your room with nobody watching. Remember… cardio and really good eating! There are ways to help weight loss like drinking plenty of water, drinking green tea, and other ways. I have some posts on how to boost metabolism and good weight loss stuff in my blog if you go through it all. I hope this helps. If you ever need anything, have any questions… Never hesitate to ask! Controversial Topic-Dietary Needs
I read that eggs are a pretty controversial topic as far as health goes. I can’t really say for sure. I think it all depends on your dietary needs and how active you are. Also, whether you only eat the white’s or not. I’m just going to shoot a number in the dark and say 10. Though to me personally, it seems like a lot… I think it’s a good number. If you eat 2 a day for 5 days, and say you work out those 5 days… it’d work out. It also depends on whether you eat the whole egg or just the whites but I assume the whole egg since you didn’t state otherwise. Hope this helps.Too many eggs risky?

Healthy Grocery List-Fruits And Veggies-Grocery Shopping-Personal Taste-Healthy Foods
It all depends on your personal taste in healthy foods. I can give you a list of things I like because those are the only things that come to mind at the moment. I’m not too good with a variety of food that aren’t Fruits And Veggies since I eat a ton of those. The drinks that I get are almond milk, ensure nutritional drinks, cranberry-raspberry juice and orange carrot mango juice. Though, some juices have added sugar so if you can find some that doesn’t have it added, go for that one. Orange juice is really good as well, especially home made. Whole grain or whole wheat bread, beans (black or pinto not refried), wheat thins (a good snack especially in place for chips), healthy cereals, greek yogurt, peanut butter, trail mix (no or less salt), oatmeal, quinoa (can be bought in a few forms), morning start or boca patties if you are vegetarian or want to eat less meat… Things like that. Here’s a few websites with healthy foods you can pick from and write down to buy as well. Healthy Lifestyle-Healthier Eating-Vegetables
If you’re looking to make healthier eating and lifestyle choices, read here. As far as making them more appealing, there will just be certain Vegetables that you favor and will like being made certain ways. Vegetables aren’t my favorite either because I didn’t grow up with much of them. My salads consisted of nothing but lettuce and Italian dressing because I hated anything else in it, and I began to change that when I began to change to a healthy lifestyle less than a year ago. So, you just need to find what works for you. Simple changes like putting spinach on sandwiches or having spinach salads with fruits and veggies in them will help. If you like Stir-fry or if you kind of like it and can maybe get used to it, that is something good you can have tons of veggies in. You just need to experiment. The more healthy foods you eat, the more appealing it will all be to you. If you experiment more with vegetables, you’ll find out which ones are your favorites and how you like them cooked. read more..
